Notes on calculation of results
Performance v handicap – Handicap (i.e. target) times were set in advance of each event by the Handicap team and the results of each race have been calculated by comparing handicap times with actual times. So the person who beats their handicap time by the most gets 1st place, etc. The series results have then been calculated as an average of each runner’s placing in their best 4 events. The overall series winner is therefore the person with the lowest average placing across their best 4 events.
Fastest male / female – as above, but based on average placing for actual race times
Age grading – as above, but based on average placing of age-graded actual race times
