The Archdeacon’s Charge and Picnic 2018

A brilliant day today at Holkham for the Archdeacon’s Charge and Picnic 2018 organised by the Diocese of Norwich. Well done to everyone who took part, especially Ant who come first and got the biggest bling of everyone (don’t know where he’s going to fit the ribbon to wear it though!).  How he managed that time in this heat is anyone’s guess!

Isle of Wight Challenge 2018

Well done to Kevin and Evette who took part in the Isle of Wight Challenge during the May bank holiday weekend.

Kevin took part in the Full Island Challenge and Evette the First Half Island Challenge

Unfortunately, due to injury, Kevin had to pull out at the Northwood House timing point.  Even so, on a hot weekend, 52km in is very good going!

Evette did fantastically and completed her event.

Great work both!

Official Times:
Evette – 9:05:02
Kevin – 7:58:37 – 52km

The Asda Foundation GEAR 10K

Stirling Marathon

Well done to Nur who got a great new PB at the Stirling Marathon.

Looks like you had some lovely weather for it!!

Official Time:

Coltishall Jaguars Mad March Hare

Following the postponement of the original MMH (from March, not surprisingly) a slightly reduced team made it to RAF Coltishall for the rescheduled run.    This event being the first in the trilogy of runs for the RAF Centenary year organised by the Jaguars.

A grey, cold and drizzly day greeted everyone, but once the event started, only the wind really caused issues (You can tell why it was an airfield!  From KM 7 to just over KM 8 it was a head wind as we ran down the runway!).

Some good event PBs were gained today.  Only 6 weeks until we’re there again!

Official Times:
Adam S – 53:41
Lucy Mc – 53:41 PB
Mark – 53:58 PB
Kerrie – 58:05 PB
Lynne – 1:07:43 PB
Claire – 1:07:48

Brilliant runs by David (who should maybe be renamed Mr Consistent) and Robert (completing his 26th time) in the hot hot hot Virgin London Marathon Today.

Well done guys.  Same again tomorrow David?
